The Great Ski Debacle

History of the Debacle

No-one really knows where the concept that was to become the Great Ski Debacle came from. The true origins are likely to remain hidden in the mists of time.

Conventional thought suggests that sometime in the early 21st Century AD, the seed of an idea that going skiing would probably be a jolly good idea was planted in Terry's head. This seed germinated and before long it had grown into a fully fledged concept that a ski trip with his friends wouldn't be the worst thing in the world to do.

Not entirely sure what to do with this new found concept, Terry consulted his friends - John, Chris and Peter, who wholeheartedly agreed that this was a good idea and that they would go to Canada. The Great Canadian Ski Debacle, as it fondly became known was a resounding success, and the four friends vowed to continue the tradition of the Great Ski Debacle every winter from that point on.
